Arrival

Arriving with an international flight may it be via Bangkok, Singapore, Malaysia, HongKong or any city within South East Asia, you will see when approaching the Golden Land why it is called "Golden Land", the magnificent Shwe Dagon Pagoda. The formalities at the airport are as in any other airport, you have to show your passpport at immigration and your luggage at customs, please have your disembarcation card ready to present.WELCOME TO MYANMAR.

Travel

You will find it most easy to travel within the Union of Myanmar, however some areas are restricted for visitors, such as the ruby mines near Mogok. Your local travel agency wil help you on how to go where and when.

Souvenirs

Visiting Bagan, a city filled with more Pagodas than you can imagine, the traditional handidraft from Bagan is the Laquerware, made from Bamboo and painted with a natural black laquer that is harvested from a special tree, then carved and filled with different designs and colors, please remember that the color blue is artificial and not traditional, colors such as yellow, red and green are natural colors and free of chemical additives.

Visiting Mandalay, the second biggest city within the Union of Myamar you will find embroidery beyond your imagination, traditional wall carpets but also fashion clothes enriched with magnificent embroidery and accessoirs.
